A post-construction clean up that’s totally green !

Earlier this year, Combat Cleanerz completed the post construction clean-up contract at the Isaac Tripp Elementary School, the Scranton School District’s newest and flashiest school.
Positioned on a hill in the Tripp Park neighborhood, the $29,000,000 building project showcased open spaces, vibrant colors and about 70,000 sf of multi-colored VCT flooring. Combat Cleanerz was awarded the bid by William H. Lane, Inc., a General Contractor from Binghamton, N.Y. which specializes in school construction.
“The flooring took a lot of effort,” said Mike Kelley from Combat Cleanerz. “The tile was very bright reds, greens and yellows with a lot of reflectivity from the lighting and the windows. We knew that any mistakes we made would stand out so we had to work carefully. When we were done, the floors really looked spectacular.”

“We also were able to complete the job using the same sustainable Shaklee cleaning solutions that we use every time we clean our clients’ facilities,” Mike added. “And because of the specialized floor equipment in which we’ve invested, we were able to fully strip the VCT without using any of the highly acidic chemicals that are typically used for floor work.”
